Most vehicles project an image of the typical drivers that purchase them. Examples:
Oldsmobile Delta 88's were associated with Grandpa's wearing hats with AAA or Shriner stickers on the back bumpers. Minivans are associated with women driving kids around. What image do you think the Honda Pilot projects??

Hmmm, I think this will vary a great deal, depending on the owner. For some, it will favor the rugged or sporty and for others it will favor more the practical or utility side.
YMMV

It's a vehicle that can handle family stuff but it can also haul just about anything. It may not be a "real" offroad SUV but for me it is definitely the best utility vehicle I've ever had.

I would think of it as a family/soccer mom car because it is not a real SUV, a minivan in SUV clothing. like the MDX, too. It will be my wife's car hence this comment.
