career

Mr.JC is a HONDA technician (Don't shoot!) & has been for over 20 years. He started earning money as a "mechanic" at 15...not Hondas. As soon as he graduated from HS he went into the USAF & was a part of the ground crew for the U2, now called the TR-1. About a year after getting out he got his first job with a Honda dealer & has been with them since. He commutes 20 miles each way to work in the Pilot. He wanted it for it's wide range of uses & hasn't been disappointed.

I have been a stay- at- home- mom. Together we raised 3 kids. And now we have 5 grandkids ranging from 8 years to 5 months. The 4 year old grandson has been able to name nearly every car he sees on the road since he was 2! One of his funniest moments was when he told me he wanted to own a FORD! When I asked why, he said, "So I can fix it every day!" At this stage having something dependable isn't his thing! (No offense Ford owners, just funny to us since this is a 100% Honda family!) He loves being with Grandpa when he's tinkering! He's a shadow! He went Pilot shopping with us & was the first "guest" in the Pilot.

grandkids

Thanks! This one is quite a joy! They all are special, but for some reason I'm more bonded with him. When I was watching him daily he was a little sponge & wanted to learn about everything he saw. Soon after he turned 2 I bought one of those "presidents" placemats & he learned all of them in a month. So I bought a "states" one..... it kept going! The difficult part is staying that step ahead!

I guess since my "career" has been raising kids & helping to raise grandkids.... this isn't off subjuect!

Technology Strategy Manager

Whatever the heck that is?
For a large electronics firm best known today for cellular phones.

However beautiful the strategy, you should occasionally look at the results.

cool

I am the Internet Sales manger for a fairly decent sized Honda dealership in the Baltimore area. About 200 cars per month.

I am 47yo with 3 kids..a 20yo son in Oregon, 16yo daughter here in MD with me and a 18 month baby girl.

Yeah, I know, 47 and changing diapers...and have never been happier!

Developer

Shopping centers, not software. Wife drives the Pilot. She's "supposed" to be teaching the deaf but prefers to teach pre-school because it gives her time to be a mom.

Her commute is about 8 miles and we, unfortunately, drive mostly in the city for short hops. Our gas mileage suffers accordingly.

I'm a stay at home Dad, Stepdad, and Foster Dad. I have two daughters, 2 and 10, three stepdaughters, 17, 23, 24, and three foster children at this time - 18 year old girl with 18 month old son and 5 month old daughter. I teach parenting classes and do massage therapy. My wife is an elementary school principal.

It should be obvious why we bought a Pilot. In fact, I think we need another one! Our other car is a 2002 2 door Satin Silver Metallic Civic LX. I also have a black 1986 Honda Shadow 500. I've been a Honda person ever since I worked as a lot jockey at a Honda/Dodge/Lincoln/Mercury dealer when I was 16. The Pilot is my 6th Honda/Acura automobile.
