National Account Manager

I am a National Account Manager for a manufacturer of elelctrical products. I have short commutes - down the stairs and to the left to my office --OR -- to the airport 15 miles away. When I travel I always have my eyes peeled for Pilots on the road. The place that I find it hardest to spot a pilot is Southern California. Most Pilots spotted in one day is 8!! - right in my home town of Houston.

Unfortunately, the wife gets to drive the Pilot more than I do. She has her own photography business.

Pointy Hair Boss

I am the Plant Design Discipline Chief for a consulting engineering firm. No, I do not look like the Pointy Hair Boss in Dilbert, but I do have a person in my department that does. Hmmm... I wonder if I could get him to posefor a picture??? I drive approx. 8 miles on surface streets.

My wife is a retired government worker (thank goodness for early out - lucky dog). She has been rubbing it in for almost a year now.

The Honda Pilot is my vehicle. It's too big for my wife
The Honda Accord is hers. Works for me.

I'm a lawyer working in beautiful downtown Buffalo (and I'm not being facetious). I live about 20 miles away in the Northern Suburbs. Unfortunately for me, the Pilot is my wife's daily driver. I just get it in nasty conditions. My daily is the Jetta (which is also a great car, BTW).

Wireless Road Warrior Keeping your cell phones/pagers working for Cingular wireless. My company provided explorer is my office and 750 miles/week is just average. After as 200 mile day I can only stand being in a vehicle if its my pilot.

occupation

I'm the director of New Business Development, (a fancy word for sales manager), for a firm that builds mechanical components and sub assemblies. (I believe in clean oil.) I usually drive between 500 and a 1000 miles a week. As per an earlier post, I have approximately 12K miles, 4 Honda oil changes and 2 rear differential oil changes. (I drive hard)

My wife is director of compensation for a major school system and she drives the Expedition. (I offered her the Honda, but she already "bonded" with the Expedition.) We have 4 kids, 2 in college and 2 in high school.

The main reason we drive SUV's is for crash survivability against the ubiquitous '70's Chevy/Ford/Dodge pickups with their coat hanger and duct tape repairs. Otherwise we would be driving a Honda S2000 or another type of sports car.

We have a Sandstone EX and Expedition XLT. My kids drive a Trooper, Explorer and a Camery all older than '93s. (with coat hanger and duct tape repairs.) Just kidding...
