Question Pilot satisfation

Just reading the "Problems" section, how many of you Pilot owners are really satisfied with your cars?

Are the "scrunching", vibration problems and Navi problems enough to wish you hadn't bought the Pilot?

I am still looking to get an '06 Pilot w/Navi after I sell my car.

Definately satified with our Pilot - haven't had any of the problems listed. Those problems get the most vocal attention but appear to really only happen to a small percentage of owners.

Those problems have me kind of worried about purchasing a Pilot. Thanks for your reply.

The vast majority of Pilot owners do not have these problems. But as stated earlier, those that do are usually far more vocal than those that do not (for good reason).

If you look at any other forum specific to a particular vehicle, you'll see the same sort of thing because every vehicle has its weak spots - even the best ones.

I suggest you edit your original post to include a poll. This will give you the stats to back up these assertions.

I wish I hadn't bought my Pilot due to the vibrations, but frankly, no other car gives me what I have with the Pilot for the price I paid.

You can go ahead and test drive your to-be Pilot for vibrations before you sign the purchase deal.

Mine has 15000 miles on it and has been perfect, The ride, the space, the safety etc cant be beat from everyting I looked at. My brother bought 2 volvos when I bought my pilot and has had nothing but problems with both of them S80 and a V70...he is about ready to trade in the V70 for a new Pilot.

I agree, maybe you should edit the post into a poll format, it might be interesting.
I have had the pilot since march of 05 and have over 30,000 miles on it. No problems whatsoever, it runs great, and is quite quiet. Love the thing, and a number of those miles have been off road. We picked up a CRV at the same time for the general running around, and it works fine also, but not as comfortable as the Pilot.

I have an 05 with almost 15,000 on it. No problems whatsoever. The worse problem I hear about is the 70 mph vibration. Be sure to test drive your Pilot and not just a demo.

Frankly, I wouldn't have anything else. Somebody else has a post started recently that points out that what most complain about are nothing compared to what any vehicle was like 15 - 20 years ago.

Pilots like any vehicle have some problems but I wouldn't have anything else. Have made three long trips and it was great. Have yet to fill up the back with the third row down and two adults and two teens. Bought a Thule bag for the roof and haven't used it yet.

What has been said about problems is very true. Most people that don't have problems doesn't say as much as those that do have problems.

56,260 miles on the 03 Pilot and not a single problem. This Honda is as good as the other two Honda's I had before.

well, there's always small number of every car that has problem. u see the problem because u r on Pilot forum. If u go take a look at Murano's forum, u will find ppl complaining about the CVT.

My co-worker's 2005 RX330 has problem with the engine light/TPMS come out for no reason and dealer can't find problem after going back for 5 times. I am sure Jay's RX330 doesn't have that problem at all.

My other co-worker has problem with his Corolla on rear bearing and alignment which is only 3 years old. That's very rare on Toyota and Lexus too.

My 2006 EXL with Navi gave me no problem so far after 13,000 km. I am very happy with it other than the low MPG.

What I like best about my Pilot is that there's really nothing about it that I dislike. I had 3 things about my CRV that I decided I didn't want to live with any longer when I traded it, and that's been true of most of the cars I owned, except maybe an 86 Integra. I'm pretty much completely satisfied with the Pilot. Sure, I wish it got a bit better gas mileage, and I think I've got warped brake rotors since it pulses when I apply brakes going down steep hills, but that's really it. I guess I'm lucky I haven't had the vibration issue others have had, I suspect that would annoy me a lot.

I have an 03' and an 04' EXL models and I'm extremely satisfied with both. I also did experience the infamous 70-75 mph vibration problem, but was fixed to my satisfaction. Had it not been fixed....my views definitely will be on the contrary.
