My Pilot's over 1 year old, I've treated the seats twice with Zaino and I still get comments from non-smokers that the Pilot still smells new..........

Full Auto except when I fire up a fine Havana - then, I make sure recirculation mode is off (and a window is cracked).

What gives it that new car smell the Zaino or the cigars? (Or is it the natural breeze after smoking the cigars?)

Like Rocky, I haven't been through a summer yet but I have had to occasionally turn the fan up manually when I get in and the Pilot is hot. The auto setting will engage the recirculate but won't turn the fan up all the way. Waiting to see winter brings.

Do also occasionally open the sunroof and turn the air off and crack the windows. (Except in the morning when there is dew on the roof - see other post about lessons learned about a sunroof.)

I guess I voted wrong. I put manual. I use the temp on auto, but can't stand full auto with the fan. I like to have air moving, anything below 3 bars is unacceptable to me in the Pilot. The dumb full auto slows the fan way too far down.

Now if I could program it with a lower limit of thre bars on fan speed, I'd be there.

I prefer full auto...my wife however is not familiar with the concept of a thermostat. It's either full blast blue til she's cold, then full blast red till she's hot, and repeat.
