Definitely gold vs tan on the Redrock.

The only problem I've had with painted pinstripes was on the wife's '90 Acura Integra. They looked VERY sharp, but after about 10 years, they started to "thin"out a bit...probably from too many carwashes and too much waxing.

I had a '90 Integra. Great little car. Sold it after 10 years & 114k miles. The guy that bought it pretty much had a check written before he drove it.

It had pin stripes when new but I removed them after a few years when some started coming off. I had found out that they were tape and likely dealer applied.

10 Years?!?! Man, don't worry about things that far down the road!! Enjoy your vehicle for today.

Even taped stripes will fade over time.

WOW! Identical twins! Her's had the sunroof visor, though. We traded it after 12 years and almost 130k. My dad sold his Honda CRX and bought one just like it too. His had tape stripes....and 160K when we sold it.

That Melborne Blue was a great color.....kinda hoped Steel Blue would have been that color, 'cause it might have been worth a trade-up.

It was very practical because of the hatchback and sometimes refer to it as the best pickup truck I have ever owned.

A couple years ago a friend of mine was going to donate an '89 Integra to one of those charity organization for a tax break. Instead, I ended up getting it from him "real cheap". I fixed it up, drove it for a while and then sold it and made a little money. It also was a sweet little car although not quite as fun as my 90 model since it was an automatic. I thought the popu up lights were cool on that generation of car.

Those CRX models were damned cute, lots of fun, and get great mileage. I'd love to have one but cold never talk the spouse into it.
