I wouldn't necessarily say SICK of winter, but rather getting tired of it. I'm just ready to go play in my yard again...once the snow melts and the resulting mud dries a little. And it 's warm enough to wash the Pilot myself, again.

My wife and I love the different seasons, and moved north from the south (she's from Florida, I'm from WV) to enjoy the winter snow. Winter's in WV were always so grey and brown.....not nice and white like here!

I added the second vote. I can't stand the heat. I hybernate during July and August. You should see my electric bills during the summer.

The winter does sometimes starts to grate on me about this time of year so I do welcome the spring. But by July, I start thinking I can't wait for football season.

This Easter weekend in MD has been gray, dreary, chilly, and damp like the rest of March. Oh, and add rainy, now that I've looked outside again. I keep thinking we're moving toward February rather than April.

Probably will be one of those years when we fast-forward through spring straight to the normal hot, humid summers we experience in this area.

(I think DC is holding the National Cherry Blossom Festival this coming week. Rotsa ruck on finding any blossoms!)

WHAT WINTER?!?!?!

It usually rains all winter, and it didn't it was mostly sunshine all winter long since december. Can we start a poll to bring winter back?

We need more rain to get over a drought. On that note, I am looking forward to spring and the vegetable garden.

Default Sping in CA Sierras

The temperature reached the upper 80s in Northern CA three weeks ago, but we had rain a few days last week and more is expected soon. Since I'm not done skiing yet, I don't mind some more storms although spring conditions are also nice. Even without storms the 15-20 feet of snow at Kirkwood and Mammoth will last longer than skiers' interest. The attached picture is from Soda Spring before the 6-10 feet of snow that fell last week.

YES! We're also itching to get out and start the veggie garden. There's nothing better than picking ingredients for dinner on the night of that dinner!

When do you come back? We'll keep you in our thoughts until then. When you get back, drive the Pilot over to Nicks on Laskin Rd for some she crab soup and cold beer!
