Always turn off the lights & radio, old habits die hard.
Full Auto Climate Control always on.
Seat heater stays on if I had it on to begin with. Even on low it's gets hot enough that I shut it. Although this week it's been so damn cold in NY that it's been staying on all the way to work.

Hey, new poll.... Seat heater on High or Low???

Like Ive told people in the past that think everything has to be turned off before they start the car again...if Honda that it was not good for the car they would make it so you had to shut it off before turning off/on ignition.

Like others have said the only thing I ever turn off are the headlights, and even those I leave on occasionally. I don't see the point in turning off the radio and/or AC/Heater. Cars these days are designed to cut power to those things when you turn the ignition.

I am burying my old habit right here in this post after reading some common sense replies. I was taught it taxed the battery to leave things on. Now I am leaving everything on. I did come out of a store one time to see that my lights were still on when I left them on. I think the procedure is key off, then open door for auto shut-off to work. I don't think the lights turn off automatically if you open your door 1st, then turn off the ignition.

Is that a bad thing? I have never shut mine off. Only thing that bugs me is the reflection of the little light in the corner of my windshield. Oh well.............

It's not a bad thing at all, it would annoy me to no end to have to hit two buttons to set the cruise. Mine is always on too, with a piece of black electrical tape to mask the light...no reflection!

To answer the question, I only shut off the lights, and try to remember the wipers if I had them on. My weakness is forgetting the map light if my passenger was using it for reading.

I agree about the two-button hassle. The Sebring we used to have was that way - a real PITA.

I took care of the reflection problem a little differently than you - I simply traded the Pilot for a RidgeLine!!

Hey colorider... Congrats on the RidgeLine!!! Checked out the pics in your scrapbook, looks very nice. What brand of tire does it come with? If I may ask, care to tell us what it set you back?

Many happy miles... RidgeLining? RidgeLinering?? Ya know Piloting is alot easier!

Regards.

Thanks! The RTL's come with Michelin LTX's - not sure if the RTS comes with the same or not.

Not sure yet what I'm doing - RidgeLining or what!!!

I got it for $500 off MSRP at the stealer in Colorado Springs - good people to work with, BTW.

Those Michelin's should serve you well.

Not sure what the deals are here in NY concerning the RidgeLine but $500 off MSRP doesn't seem too bad being it's a first year model. Have yet to see any on the road around here.

Yep, I turn them all off. What is the sense of having all those neat switches is you are not going to play with them????
