I took it into a local shop, he can't find what's wrong with it. It codes as a misfire on cyc 6. He states that there is a lean fuel mix. He has checked the fuel pressure and its all good.

He replaced te injector

What year is your Pilot?

Whats the Code?

Right now I doubt your shop. Injectors rarely ever cause problems.

BTW, this is in the wrong sections. Hopefully Mods will move.

A misfire code can be caused by several things, a bad spark plug, bad ignition coil, bad fuel injector to name a few.

The proper way to diagnose this is to swap the plug and the coil with 2 others in the car and see if the misfire code moves to another cylinder.
Example: swap plugs between #5 and #6
swap coils between #4 and #6

If the misfire code moves to #4 (p0304), you have a bad coil
If the misfire code moves to #5 (p0305), you have a bad spark plug
If you continue to get a P0306 cylinder #6 misfire, you probably have a bad fuel injector on #6.

A lean condition can be caused by low fuel pressure, a fuel injector not operating properly, or an intake air leak.
For the air leak, look for a broken vacuum line or a tear in the intake boot from the air filter to the throllte body.

Hope this helps.

Do you still have the problem you described?
