Thanks for putting this up Comps. I have an 02 Ody in addition to the Pilot and have experience this, helpful to hand to the service tech.

Default EGR TSB

I recently received a letter from Honda Canada announcing a warranty extension for my 2003 Pilot's EGR system. The issue is that gasoline chemicals may cause the EGR port to stick or the EGR valve to fail. The warranty period is being extended to 8 years or 130,000 km, whichever comes first.

It's the design/durability of the EGR that's causing the malfunction and not the chemicals on the gasoline!

Ah,yes, Honda would never suggest that THEIR parts would be the root cause ofthe problem!
