Some history for those of you who are purchasing Hondacare extended warranties:
Several dealerships used to sell them directly online at a significant discount (Saccucci, Bernardi, etc). They sold quantity to make up for the lower profit. The dealerships that did not offer discounted warranties complained to Honda and Honda folded and no longer allows dealerships to sell them online (there was a lawsuit involved). They can still discount them, but they can't advertise price or sell directly over the internet. All that means is that you have to call them now or some allow you to submit a form over the internet and then deal through email. If you get a quote from one of the discounting dealers before you purchase your Pilot, your selling dealer will usually match it.
It is a Honda and there have not been significant issues that have required usage of the warranty. I usually recommend putting the money that you would use to to purchase the warranty in the bank for any repairs that may be needed. If none are needed, then you get to keep it and the interest it has earned.
