I guess both of you guys haven't driven the lexus LX570, escalade hybrid, porsche cayenne and MB ML. the transition from nav screen to camera is not instant unless you want it continuously monitoring it without the switch. In the meantime, at 40-60 miles per hour, you have already travelled several meters/feet before you can look back to the road. that is why there is a lock in the nav system for safety reasons and that is what you are trying to circumvent to make sense for safety driving? these are lockpicks you are suggesting and requesting if it has been done and yes it has been done not just with hondu's but all other car companies trying to bypass the "safety feature!" right?
