Jestmaty, for the scratch, do you just put some touch up paint on it? Do you have to smooth it out? I did once on my wife accord years ago when the car was new, but some paint on and that was it. Was not happy with the result. Two weeks ago I was in hurry pulled the PL out of my garage while it was opening at the same. As a result, it made a foot long scratch on top of PL.

I'll take a pic of the pencil sized hole on Sunday. It was definately a bb and happened in Sept 2008. I just stuck a refridgerator magnet over the spot to keep rust or whatever out. Well, as I stated above, I finally had my pdr ( paintless dent removal ) guy push it out as far as flush as he could.
There is still a pencil eraser sized hole with no paint. Of course, I won't be happy until a body work specialist gives me a quote to fix it right. I didn't make it by the local Honda dealer before closing, so the touch up will have to wait until Monday.
The spot will be semi-jagged and messy until I get around to seeing the body work guy that was recommended by my pdr guy. I'm told that the area will have to be sanded, prepped, and repainted and then feathered & clearcoated. Sounds like a recipe for a mismatch coming down the pipe.
FWIW, I have a really, really nice 19 yr old Nissan 240SX that is having some pretty severe paint issues only on the front plastic bumper. The roof, hood, sides and rear of the car have beautiful paint for being so old. I bought 2 containers of OEM paint and just use the enclosed brush to fill in the flaking areas that have black showing through. It is one of those "looks good for 50/50... going by at 50 mph and 50 feet away
" paint touch-ups. You'll never be happy unless someone who knows what they're doing does the repair.
For your issue, I would try to wax as much of the transferred paint off before I did anything else. Also, see if you can find a pdr person in your area. They usually work closely with someone who can do minor stuff like your scratch sounds like and they do excellent work, especially if you're paying cash. These colleagues of the pdr guys usually charge way, way less than regular body shop folks. I found a couple of years ago that I must have turned my camper too sharply when backing up one time and pinched the trailer and the rear bumper. Took a good sized gouge out of the driver's side rear bumper. One of my pdr guy's friends filled, sanded, and painted/clear coated in about 45 minutes. For about $40 bucks. The job was flawless and has continued to wear just like the original paint.
When I found my most recent ding on my Pilot, there was transferred paint as well from the idiot who hit me with their car door. First thing I did was aggressively wax the area to remove all 'their' paint off and see just how bad the actual ding was.
To most people, it would have taken some time to even find the ding. But, to my OCD self, it was the first thing I saw every time I walked up to my Pilot. I keep my cars for a long, long time and part of the "non-desire" for a new car is that mine looks like it came off the showroom floor. Still brand new to me....
