Default Wow thanks

Awesome post - I did this last night and it seriously took me 20 mins total, including cutting the plastic, and I wasn't even working for speed!

I vacuumed out as much leaves as I could, and then reversed the ShopVac and blew the rest out and then vacuumed from my floor. My filter definitely was a charcoal one as both sides were grayish, but there were enough leaves and other junk in there after 5 yrs that I'm happy I invested $12 and 20 mins to do this change.

FYI I just used one of those mini-hacksaws to cut the plastic - the kind that are just a short hacksaw blade that sticks out from a handle on one side. The plastic is soft and the saw went through like it was butter.

I may be missing something buy WHY IS THIS NOT A (or "THE") STICKY DIY?????

I mean, the DIY that is sticky is fine I guess, but it involves pulling up trim, taking off the right side glovebox screw, etc. Seems like the long way around, and the EASY method works fine. I was watching that right side where the glovebox is still attached when I moved the metal bar and the plastic was flexing - I was worried that I might break something but nope - it just hung in there.

Thanks again and let's get this up to the sticky!
