That's an impossibility in a 2003-2005 model because the whole lens is red. It may be done on the 2006+ with some ingenuity, but I don't think it's worth the effort. IMO, the weather would have to be pretty bad/inclement in order for the vehicle in back of you not to see your turn signal blinking. I'm not sure how the blinking turn signal could be mistaken as a warning/hazard light. That is unless both sides were blinking at the same time.
Consumer grade LEDs are still generations behind what car manufacturers can make in terms of light output.
