I liked to go to Devil's lake for the day to go hiking in the winter when I was suffering from cabin fever. Went there as a kid in the summer but don't think I did as an adult.

What did you do in Door County?

Was there with my mom once as an adult. Remember having the neat experience of watching a beautiful sunset over Lake Michigan from Wisconsin.

I remember the part that sticks out and has no ground underneath. A good contractor selection is key.

Anywhere in Wi. is great. I went to school in madison and loved that city. Their farmers' market probably hasn't started yet. Eat a lot of cheese curds.I remember the rolling green hills, all the lakes, all the cows.Elroy/sparta and menomenee have good bike trails and you can also canoe at the latter Red Cedar river.Kettle Moraine has wonderful cross country skiing unless you're a beginner like me-Spring Green is lovely as is cranberry country further so.

I went hiking with my mom in the Southern Kettle Moraine this past Thanksgiving. We had to wear Hunter's Orange Vests because it was that season. We stayed in the areas where hunting wasn't allowed non the less.

My favorite place in Wisconsin?? Hmmmmm, probably right where I live, St. Germain. About 3200 lakes between Vilas and Onieda county. If you enjoy the outdoors, this is it.
Door county is also very pretty.
The farms and rolling hills of SW Wisconsin, a nice quiet setting.
