Products that claim to increase horsepower or gas mileage (Tornado) have been tested by various places with the same results... no improvement. Just off the top of my head, I know that both Popular Mechanics and Consumer Reports have published their test results.
The part probably costs less than a buck to make... do you honestly think that a car manufacturer would not install it if it actually worked?
