Better image display
It would vastly improve this site if it had an easier system of displaying pics. This is an auto website, and I find no value in posting pics the way things are set up now. Threads always look better when you can post the pic in the actual message so it is displayed, instead of always having to click on a link.

I agree. Not sure why the mods or the admins have the IMG tagging function turned off for all forums. It sucks....
edit: just checked for this forum and it's on for this forum.

I've mentioned this a few times, but hopefully this time someone will fix it.
The IMG tag being turned off for the 2003-2008 and 2009-2011 forums makes no sense.

Those forums I'm in that have the IMG ON are just better These adverts are awful......

The whole forum just looks and flows better with images displayed instead of links. It is a shame. I also think it would promote more involvement. There are tons of forums where people are constantly updating pictures left and right to show everyone what they have, have done, want to do, or just for fun. There have been numerous times where I thought about posting a pic for an issue, or just to show off something, and I don't feel like it because of the layout for images.
Mods, any thoughts on this? |

Just so you know, the General forums let you post pics just fine. That includes General Discussions, Accessories, Maint, etc. etc. So if you've got a thread you want to start with pics, feel free to do it there.
Only the model specific forums have the IMG tag turned off.

perhaps it would slow the forums down even more than it has been by the introduction of all the adverts.

Running FireFox w/ Ad-Block takes care of all the ads for me. Having the pics in the posts really helps... instead of clicking on the image links and having them open up in another window or tab.
