The site got a new server on 4/1/2010...since that happened sometime after midnight forum time most posts in the forum older than that don't show up .

I spoke with 'mod Tim who reported it to Daniel the site administrator this AM.

Hope Daniel gets the site gurus to fix it soon.

No problems at all

In fact site is far quicker to load, search etc.

Nice job!

Edit: I searched for a thread in response to a question elsewhere about the rear seat heater on the first generation dying. Couldn't find the thread.

Did all the threads get moved over or did we suffer a data dump?

I am having the same problem of seeing older threads. I hope it is fix soon, I was planning on putting in a new door actuator and went back to the thread and all it shows is an advertisement.

Daniel's working on it.....I know how these server moves go.

Once in a server move back when I was the admin/owner of AudioKarma, we lost every picture posted there from 2002-2004......this one's much easier to fix by comparison.

Default Every thread that I click on gives me the ad on the bottom

I am new as a registered member but I have been browesing the site for a while now. I checked out the site today and was able to read the first few threads that I clicked on. After that, everything went to the ad on the bottom of the page. Is there a problem on the site or am I doing something wrong.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

The site owners are in the process of migrating to different servers, some of it's functionality has been lost. It should get back to normal in a couple days or so hopefully!

Welcome to the Forum!!! I merged your new thread with an existing thread on the same subject.

Daniel is working on the problem and HOPEFULLY will have it sorted out soon.

Default Help

I had not logged in for a while until last night. Nearly every thread I go into now just takes me to a site with an advertisement where the thread words should be. I can not see the thread. I sent a note to one of the regular posters to ask what was going on, but no answer!

Does anyone see this thread? Can anyone point me to help on my problem?

Thanks

Sigh.

Don't worry, you haven't gone mad. There was some presumably fairly catastrophic technical failure, allegedly during a server upgrade. The site was up and down like a yoyo for a day and half (that I saw) and when it finally stabilized, some fairly good chunk of the old thread content was gone.

Hopefully it's reappear soon, and hopefully the site owner will give us an update about what's going on.

Default Thanks so much

I HATE that the thread data was lost, but at least I know I'm not going nuts!

There's a server migration going on at the moment. We just have to have a little patience until all the threads are indexed and migrated......believe me, I know how this goes.....
