Default Image Verification Line?

I'm no expert, but wonder if adding an "Image Verification" question to the original user registration form (similar to the Maxima.org site) would cut down on these porn/spam attacks that we've been getting lately.

These postings must be driving the Mod's nuts.

That is the recommended fix from vBulliten, but you still get some spammers who either have teh time to do the image registration, or who have found a way around it (That vBulliten says does not exist).
