That Accord looks really good considering its age and mileage. No rust even it located in a salt belt area??? I wonder how much money he has put into that car to hit a million miles....

Other Honda owners have their stories too... link here Honda Mile Makers - Owner Stories - the Official Honda Web Site

I agree. Last week I sold my 1991 Honda Accord with 212,000 miles and purchased a 2003 Pilot with 144,000 miles.

The '91 Accord was awesome. Durable, easy to work on, smooth ride, stone ax reliable. I hated to see it go, but I could not pass up the deal I discovered on this Pilot.

My cousin has a '91 Accord with 340,000 miles. My daughter at university drives a '92 Accord with 124,000 miles.

High utilization is the key to racking up big miles on any vehicle. While this Accord is a very durable vehicle, most cars are good to very high miles if they have such high utilization rates, in this case 62K+/year. At 15K/year, it would take 60+ years to get to a million miles and I can guarantee you there won't be very many 1990 Accords driving around in 2050, and the few that are around will likely be low mileage examples that sat most of that time in a garage.
