Thank you for posting that. It is amazing to see how widespread his influence has been. Call me an apple fanboy or whatever, but there is a weird empty feeling now. He will be missed.

I've been an Apple user since I was able to operate a computer...it's all I've ever known. I consider myself fortunate that I've never had to work on a PC. The first computer I remember as a kid was an Apple IIe. It was a big day at our house my dad bought this funky little computer called a Macintosh...I was 12 in 1984. I will NEVER let my dad live down the day when I told him he should buy more stock in Apple because I heard they were coming out with this really cool music device called an iPod...the stock at the time was a little over $16 per share...he didn't think it would be that big of a deal. It's kind of amazing how one company can shape how some of us go about our daily lives. Hardly a day goes by that I don't have some contact with a product Steve Jobs developed. I truly hope someone will pick up the torch and continue to carry Apple to the heights many of us have been fortunate enough to experience.

I'm not a big Apple Fan. Think Macs are over rated and over priced. I Phone is a toy. I do own an Ipod which I love.

That said , hats off to Mr Jobs and his creative genius. RIP.
