Cost of inflation
On a 120 mile bicycle ride (not to be confused with motorcycle) this past weekend a group of about 30 stopped at a Dairy Queen along a country road. A man and his family commented to his wife and kids as they left the DQ that he bet that some of those bikes probably cost as much as $500. Little did he know that a wheel cost close to or more than $500. I paid more for my bike than I did for a beautiful new Pontiac Lemans way back in 1970.

I just wandered into our local bike shop to see what they had, they had a bike that was listed at $4999.... really?
