Unhappy It was 80* F in Houston today!

Although the local weather guy said the high today was 75*, I saw 80 on 2 different cars that I own that show outside temp!

Dang mosquitos were biting me! In January! Mosquitos!!!!!!

2 weeks ago, the city was going nuts over having temps dip in the low 20's for 4 nights in a row. Hard to believe that I had to run my pool pump for about 8 hours each night, to keep the pipes and pumps from freezing.

Everyone had their pipes wrapped, the roads were treated with some chemical to resist freezing. Yes, it was very cold ( at least to Houstonians ) and today, I had to turn on the air conditioning for a while to cool the upstairs of my house!

Weird...... just 3 weeks ago, I was in Taos, New Mexico, snow skiing and loving the single digit weather.

Moved into that part of winter when working outdoors in a T shirt is comfortable. 35 deg feels like a heatwave.

You folks up north are used to this but In North Carolina this is a disaster! We only got 3.5 inches where I live. Raleigh got 6.
