As am I, but I'm going to be coming into some money and retirement funds from a settlement, and I need to figure out the best way to map out my future

Maybe you should establish an IRA. Those are great for retirement.....

I recently received an inheritance, and this month's issue of SmartMoney arrived within a couple of days. The lead article really got me thinking about what I should do with this money.

I don't need the money, and because it represents several generations of my family's frugal-ness (which I also inherited), I would like to do something other than simply adding to my existing investments.

Therefore, the money is currently sitting in a savings account waiting for my decision.
