Any experience with magnetic water treatment...mainly to 'soften' water?
http://www.magnetic-water.com/ http://www.watermagnets.com/?gclid=C...FQdyUAod6HMz1A Vendors proliferate...but studies (Corps of Engineers, Dept of Energy, universities, etc) show it's bunk. Has anyone ever tried this sort of thing??? Thanks.

I work in the water treatment field and can testify that it is largely a bunk. The problem is, once the water leaves the magnetic field the water returns to its "pre-magnetic conditions." I have done research on similar type of technology but for different applications and never had results anywhere close to what the manufacturer claimed.
