Anyone into (or have kids into) the XMOD RC cars?

My son has 2. He is almost 15 and does not play with them anymore. They are neat though.

Just wondering if there are decent places to get the upgrades without paying an arm and a leg.

I know he bought some stuff at Radio Shack, and also off of E-Bay. Are they still that popular.

They are still at Rat shack. They seem to close out models and bring out new ones regularly.
There is a bunch of stuff on eBay also, but its hard to tell what are real "upgrades" and what is just for show.

I don't know how popular they are.

I have the Titan xmod with the lift, larger tires, plan on changing motors and gearing and adding the front dif. I run it around my office and chase the dog with it. Looks just like my real Titan.

I own a Titan also it was an X'mas present.

I have a much larger Nikko Titan that the Xmod fits in the bed, no custimizng it though. Both red though like my big one.
