I have alleries, susceptible to bronchial asthma, and had a problem for a long time with my eustachian tubes not functioning properly, causing hearing problems. For quite some time now I've been getting injections once every week or two (back on a weekly cycle with pollen season starting) and take over tthe counter Claritin daily and use prescription Nasonex daily.

In the past I've taken Albuterol, Beconase, Ventalin, Allegra 180, and on and on.

The last time I was allergy tested, the doc told me I still had a mild reaction to dust mites and blackberries. I said that's okay, whipped out my Treo 650, and said "I don't use a Blackberry, I have a PalmPilot." He about fell off his stool laughing.

When I was a kid, I spent a week in the hospital, and the nurse would bring a nasty tasting Benadril around every 4 hours. I told her one time that the next time, it better be in pill form, or I was gonna throw up on her. Four hours later she came around with that godawful pulpy nasty mix, and I proceeded to empty the contents of my stomach all over her, me, the bed sheets, etc. Four hours later, the new duty nurse showed up with a pill.

I think another thing that helped me a lot recently is the new home HVAC system I had to have put in last September. Better filtration, humidity control, and generally better air circulating in the house.
