We have 2 boys 12 & 15 and we got the Pilot after a minivan with Captain's chairs. They love the Pilot - the seats are comfortable and the "activity tray" in the EXL is a nice 'separator' between the kids - plus they are so busy watching the DVD movies on the RES (Rear Entertainment System) that they haven't noticed the seats.

By the way the middle seat (on top of folded up activity tray) is not very comfortable. For short trips only. But we love the ability to take 4 people VERY comfortably, or up to 8 on a short trip out to dinner or something.
