Default An Informal Poll of The Brand of Gas Being Used.

Greetings, fellow Canucks!
I was wondering if you guys would be so kind as to participate in this poll for me. I'm currently using Esso regular gas, most of the time. Actually, I can't remember if I ever used any other brand with my Pilot. Almost all the Esso stations around here have touchless carwashes I like to use, whereas most Petro Canada and other major ones don't have such carwashes on their lot, at least not around here. Also, by using Esso, I get those Esso Points, which I can use towards purchasing a carwash. I know Petro Can has a points program as well, but most of them have no car washes.

So, my questions are, which brand of gas do you use and what octane rating? While I'm at it, have you had any starting/ignition problems at all with your car? If so, how often? Thanks for your time and courtesy.

Default Mostly Esso and 2nd Shell

I was using Shell in the past, way before the Pilot.

But 'suspect' the Shell gas kill my oxgen senors 2 times in my Volvo, then I start to use mostly Esso.

Still use Shell once a while mostly because of the Air Miles for the car wash, touch less.

The grade is Regular 87 Octane. Mostly around 70.0 per Litre ( Cad $7, I think, never know how the figure works)

The car wash from Shell is not good for the Pilot, it cannot clear the tailgate, especially the bumper step. Also very strange, the wheel rim still dirty after wash

I'm using Chevron regular unleaded in mine down here in the States.

FWIW, drove up to Victoria, BC last weekend and filled up at Esso regular for $.815/L CAD which worked out to $2.55/G USD.

Right now, it's at 66cents/liter, but with Esso, they take an additional 3.5 cents off of whatever price is posted.

Talking Two Honorary Canadians

Hey, I thought this was an informal Canadian poll... what are the two red, white, and bluers from Texas and Washington doing posting a response?

P.S. Must be a 61 post thingy....

P.P.S Well, okay... I can understand 01R1 since they're right across the border... too bad we don't have a Mexican poll for g128620.....

I use Mobil or Getty regular. I only have about 2500 miles on my Pilot and have not experienced any problems so far with either gas.

...and to think it's taken me months to get this many posts!

Yea, that's kind of weird seeing another poster with the same number of messages, posted right next to each other?!

Thumbs up Esso tiger it is

Pretty much Esso, rarely other brands and only when there's no Esso in sight where I go. Chose Esso for convenience -- for some reasons more Esso on my way, speedpass comes in handy and yeah, Esso points take us to the movies.

You might want to try speedpass. Just point, pump and go!

Default Mobil

Regular 87. I have about six Mobils in my immediate area and will shop around. Sometimes it can be as much as six cents difference in price. And I definitely use my speedpass.

Murphy Oil, using a Wal-Mart "Gift Card" gets you a 3c/US Gal discount.
