Well, most of the snow we received is melted away by now, but we did get a healthy dose of it a few days ago and I tested out the VTM-4. I couldn't get the wheels to slip, but I did notice, even if it was for a split second, some kind of response delay when I hit the accelerator. I think perhaps the computer needed that split second to determine the wheels were going to slip and act accordingly.

In that case, may all the snow we're supposed to get this winter fall where you're at I'd rather have a brown X-Mas than a white one.

I'm about 200 miles from the border if that's close enouph. Last week we got about 3" of wet & heavy along with freezing rain. I drove my truck and needed 4WD to climb the hills. The wife drove home in it and said the Pilot was awesome. We got about 6 inches of the same today but I took the truck to work again.

No snow here yet. In the winter the big storms always seem to track south of the lake and hit Buffalo and Rochester.

I wish we had a Pilot! Last week we had some freezing rain here in YYZ and our Pwagon handled it fine (GLX 4MOTION).

Errrrrrrr! I wish we had a Pilot (or a X)!

We have recieved about 8-10 inches up here in the past week or so. No snow all winter before this so this was very unsual for these parts.

Anyways, finally got a chance to try the Pilot in the snow, and I must say it is as good as I hoped it would be, even with stock Goodyears.

I cannot feel the or hear anything when the rear wheels kick in, and it seems instantaneous when it happens.

I also think the weight of the vehicle helps it a lot to get traction.
