Default Fender Flare Kit

Ok, somebody must have the answer to this question.

I am on the Honda Canada web site trying to get a feel for the price of some accessories for a Pilot EX-L. Here is the link

http://www.honda.ca/Honda/BuildYourH...-145D89DE7CCF}

Or go to www.honda.ca

I would like the Foglights (with Front Bumper Trim),
Full Nose Mask, Side Step Bars - Chrome and Splash Guards - Rear and Fender Flare Kit. (I selected them in that order)

But everytime I choose those items, a window pops up and tells me "To add Fender Flare Kit you must remove: Foglights (with Front Bumper Trim)Full Nose Mask.

Can the Fender Flare Kit co-exist with Foglights (with Front Bumper Trim) and a Full Nose Mask?

Is this a CONSPIRACY????????

The fender flare kits cannot be installed with the full nose mask. The full nose mask can't be installed with optional lower trim garnish or with fender flares. The foglights & lower trim can be installed with the fender flares.

What SteveLuman said.
Instead of full nose mask, maybe go with a bug flector instead which I think would look better on a Pilot.

I thought you were shopping around for an MDX?

Did you finally come to your senses & realized that the Pilot is the better SUV?

Plus if you do get the Pilot you can be part of the ultra cool Edmonton HONDA PILOTS!

So it looks like the culprit is those Fender Flares.

They dont seem to play so nice in the sand box.

The culprit is the nose mask. It won't fit a big nose. A full nose mask won't fit over the bumper trim or flares.

Lower trim. See how the Full Mask won't fit. A half mask works, though.

I was so close to show up there on Sat with my friends Escalade

I still am looking at the MDX. It's a long story but everytime I go down to Southview to buy the MDX, I get through the front door and they tell me they sold it and it was their last one. I usually get a call the next day saying they found another 2004 but it will cost $500 more. I drive to Southview again and guess what......the salesman says he sold the MDX...........

This happened 3 times and the price keeps going up. I didn't know that so many hidden 2004 Acura's exist.

I might be buying a Honda Pilot if this keeps up.

Sorry to hear about the frustrating process you're going thru with Acura. It does make you wonder how many 04 MDX's are out there & whos buying them?

You should've come to the Pilot Meet, you'd be driving a brand spankin' new ultra cool Honda Pilot today......guaranteed.

Good luck, let us know how you make out.
