Talking Hello all NW folks!

My wife and I are proud owners of a 2004 EX L - SS. We weren't planning on buying a Pilot until the end of the month hoping to get a good deal but that changed this evening...... We had spoke with someone at Renton Honda on Sunday but they weren't able to make the deal that I wanted so we left and were just going to wait. I had a message from the salesperson saying they were going to make the deal that I wanted if I came in tonight. I know the deal we received wasn't the best deal out there but $1000 over invoice was good for the wife and I.

Many options on the list just need to plan on what we want first! Anyone up to a accessory installing party I will provide the beer if needed

Ask honda-pilot.org member wwong about an accessory install party...

1. He's got well over 30 accessories installed on his Pilot (all of them are DIY (do it yourself) projects)...

2. Last summer, he was willing to fly from CA to MD to hold an accessory installation clinic!!!

Oh, before I forget...

Default ahh, there she is

She's beautiful, but of course I'm quite biased.

Yes, this NW forum is unfortunately dead calm. I'd like to do ocean get togethers and things, but not too much action here. Who knows...maybe this summer.

Congratulations. Don't dwell in the trouble section...thousands of pilots out there, without this forum i'd never have known about most of the issues. But, I also would never have know about hondacuraworld for cheap accessories with no shipping, or wwongs innovative 3M pilot items...or made all these great friends.

Great choice, my neighbor! Here's my latest Pilot shot:

Default Tint?

What precentage is the tint on your front windows?

We are always game for a trip to the ocean!

The NW forum is pretty dead, but there are alot of us from here active in the other forums.

A beach trip sounds interesting. I've never been to the washington coast, i've heard it's pretty.

Smile Howdy fellow NW Pilot owners!

Hi Folks,

I'm new to this forum too. My wife and I have a Starlight Silver Pilot on order with Bellevue Honda. We bought it last Thursday and they say it shipped on the 10th and usually takes about 10 days to arrive (so it should be here by now). After the accessories are installed we're hoping it will be ready in time for us to take our monthly trip to Long Beach in time for the holiday weekend.

Welcome 2Tall! I've lived in Washington for the last 30 years, and have been a member here since Jan '03...great people here, ready to give you advice within minutes. Be sure to check out hondacuraworld.com for great deals on accessories, too. HONDACURAWORLD.COM

If you are indeed too tall, the Pilot is the best SUV! I can't believe the headroom in this thing. I have to use props to turn the grabrail lights off when I notice one is left on. And I can stretch my arms straight up, and palm the headliner, there's so much room.
You will love the Pilot, and all that it is, for not all that much $ (comparatively speaking)

I personally don't care for the goodyear integrity tires, but that's it. Everything else about it I love. If you got the EX, or the LX you will most likely get the Bridgestone Duellers, a much better tire. Many of the members here switched for Michelin Cross Terrains.

You will have a great time roadtripping in the Pilot, so much space, and what a nice smooth ride!

Congratulations! Post some photos of your beautiful Pilot in our beautiful Northwest, we'd love to see it.

To 74PILOTMOM -

I'm 6"8" tall, 305lbs. Evenly proportioned between legs and torso (gut is a different story). Believe it or not we almost didn't get the Pilot due to a lack of room. The problem I encountered was the shift lever. In the Park position I have plenty of room, but when I put the Pilot in Drive the lever comes down within about 1/4" of my leg. When I drove the tester the lever actually hit my leg and my wife's face blanched when she saw this. The Pilot is primarily for her, but I have to be able to drive it to. She really wanted a Pilot. Anyhow, I found that I had just enough room when I tilted the wheel to its full upright position that I was able to comfortably drive the Pilot. If I had to shift down into D3 or D2 then I have to twist my knee to the left to get the lever to move. Headroom is OK. Our tester had a sunroof, so I should be fine there.

We can't wait to get our Pilot. We heard it arrived at the dealer this morning. They still need to detail it, install the fogs and the moonroof. We're hoping to get it before the July 4th weekend.
