Is this a 'NEW' SUV when 25564 is the highest VIN so far?

EMC02, my guess would be that yours (20480) was built around 8/11. Mine was 20,620 which was built about then. That's new enough! Might have been moved among dealers or something.

livemusicfan, Date built is usually provided by your dealer prior to delivery. They usually know this before it's built (estimate anyway) from my experience. If they just got the VIN, then it's probably just been built. Some owners have said that some of the interior plastic wrap on the seats shows build date (I forgot to check on ours). But that number (21489) looks to me like it was built in mid-August, bracketing it between some others we know (isn't this table handy?)
