Thumbs up Member status

This board is a wonderful resource for learning all things "PILOT".

Imagine how much better our PILOTS would be if Honda let some of the posters here test drive them before they started production! Or even been part of theri focus groups.

Anyway, simple questions, hopefully this is the right place to ask--

1. How does one "graduate" from a "junior member" to "member" to "senior member"? I assume it has to do with the number of posts but I can't pinpoint the different levels.

2. How do some poster ID's get 'star' ratings? I agree that those that have them deserve them for their insightful posts. Just wondering what the criteria is.

Thanks for the great information everyone!

Here are the answers to your questions:

1. How does one "graduate" from a "junior member" to "member" to "senior member"? I assume it has to do with the number of posts but I can't pinpoint the different levels.

You are right, you graduate from a junior member to member when you have posted thirty times, or if you go into user settings and change your title.

2. How do some poster ID's get 'star' ratings? I agree that those that have them deserve them for their insightful posts. Just wondering what the criteria is.

For every thirty posts you get a star.

Hope this helped!

Question Stars

Brett, If it is a star every 30 posts why only 3 for you with almost 150 posts? Just checking I always assumed there was some non linear scale. But maybe I am just to much of a math geek.

Here is my impromptu data analysis:

1-29 Junior Member
30-  Member 1
75-  Member 2
100- Senior Member 3
200- Senior Member 4
300- Super Senior Member 5

It wouldn't let me put all the stars in there, "too many images."

Thumbs up Thanks Havasu

Thanks Havasu, I knew someone would know, or be more motivated than me to figure it out.

Default Star System

Again this seems very Ebay Like... If you reach the top level do you get a free pilot?.. or at least a free accessory? At Ebay you are showered with Lavish gifts for your your stars!
