Nothing replaced here.....just needed something to haul stuff that my Grand Prix can't, which, I guess is just about everything

In making my decision, I also was sure to pick a vehicle that was a "smart buy" and one that would last for a while in case I was not able to trade in a few years. Let's hope it holds up.

87' GMC Jimmy S15, still miss my poor little truck (first vehicle). Got me back and forth from Florida a couple times. Never had any big problems with her.

But I lub my Pilot =)

Didn't actually replaced my Acura Integra. We just added another vehicle for traveling. My Acura is 13 years old with 152K miles and runs like new. GO HONDA!

'89 Volvo 240DL wagon 165000 miles

Loved the space and utility of the wagon, but it was time to replace one of our '89 Volvos with an '03.

Boy, I miss driving a classic, even with it's quirks and 'personality'. Also, it was nice to not really care what or how I loaded things in the back.

'96 Dodge Grand Caravan with 78,000 miles. Great vehicle that was preceded by an '89 Grand Caravan with 120,000. Both served their purpose but after 14 years we grew tired of the minivan and wanted something different and the Pilot filled the bill....

Our pilot replaced the BIG BURB - '93 Chevy Suburban. I miss all that cargo space.

I ended up replacing a 1999 Toyota Rav4 with 12K miles because we needed something larger due to an expected family addition (due in April).

I really looked hard at the Toyota Sequoia and Eddie Bauer Expledition. The lower cost of the Pilot + previous experience with Honda's were the main selling points.

Additionally, our neighbor has had a Pilot since last year and she really loves hers. She also has two kids and swears she wouldn't have any other vehicle.

mine replaced a 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport. We needed something that was easier to get into the back seats. Saw the Pilot previewed in Auto magazines and started getting info online and from the dealers.

Bottom line: love it. Leasing now but planning on buying it.

Replaced a '99 Lexus RX300. Loved it but it just didn't have the room we needed to fit our two kids and all their gear plus I want to start biking this summer so the Pilot fit the bill. Aside from the occasional long cranking time, my wife and I are very happy with our decision.

Mine replaced a ten year old Honda Civic EX. The Civic had replaced a nine year old Honda CRX.

I really miss the CRX.

Replaced a '98 Toyota Sienna with 65k miles. It needed new tires and brakes. And I was tired of the Minivan stigma and I didn't like that fact the 3rd row seats didn't fold flat. Also I had a high payment. I loved the Pilot at 1st site. It was a logical choice, and my payment is half of what the old car was! In the past I had a '90 Accord and a '93 Del Sol. Very reliable. Thank god for the Pilot or I might have gotten an MDX and eaten mac n cheese for the next 5 years.

Replaced a 2000 Accord EX V6 4-door. It was a great car, but someone went through a stop sign right in front of me and I hit them broadside at 35 mph. I walked away just a little shaken up, but with no injuries - Honda builds very safe cars. Major damage to both cars, but my Accord was actually drivable - no fluid leaks and the engine and transmission worked fine even though the front end was almost a foot shorter. The other car was also a 2000 Accord V-6, and the side airbags helped the other driver, but she hit her head on the side window and had to go to the hospital. It cost her insurance company almost $12,000 to repair my Accord. With a major accident like that, I didn't want to keep it - I've heard too many stories about major problems showing up months (or years) later. I was going to get a 2003 Accord, but then I saw the Pilot. I didn't even think about an SUV before test driving the Pilot. I'm very happy I got the Pilot!

Before the Accord, I had a 1990 Civic that went 9 years and 167,000 miles before I sold it for $3000. That was also a great car.

Replaced '99 Mercedes C280 Sport with 85K mi. Great car but was tired of bending over for Mercedes repair prices.
