Doesn't Ride Like a Truck!

Just wanted to let everyone know what my family thinks of the Pilot.
Had to let my wife drive the Pilot to take her family to a doctors consultation in Indianapolis the other day. Boy was it weird to drive the accord, it felt like I was on the ground in a two seater.
When she got back she said her 2 brothers and father thought that the pilot rode really good. "It doesn't ride like a truck like I thought it would" was the comment from her dad. They said they were surprised that it rode so much like a luxury car. I could have told them that but they had to figure it out on their own.
They had 5 people in it and my wife even got in the third seat,
too bad I was not there to see it , and she said the ride was good there too, just a trick to get in and out.
I have had my pilot since sept and I still think it smells new.
We will keep you informed of any other comments as they come from the family.
Regards to all-----\
Bob

I traded in a '99 Buick Park Avenue for my Pilot. The ride is "almost" as good as the PA, every bit as quiet and other than a few less bells and whistles, it has all the "luxury class" of the PA.

The Pilot replaced my wifes Range Rover. She thinks the Pilot rides better (But wants her old leather seats back).

It was the older solid axel model, not the new full independant RR.

However beautiful the strategy, you should occasionally look at the results.

We were used to the ride of a '91 Toyota 4x4 truck, so the Pilot comparatively seems like a smooth, quiet ride on a magic carpet!

The smooth, quiet ride on a magic carpet could soon turn in to crash & burn...
