Title typo: 2008-2012 Pilots

Apparently your airbags could be missing Rivets.

Is it me or is recall frequency on the rise?

Haven't receive the recall letter from Honda yet but the closest dealer to me send me a letter. Wanted me to come in so they can spend 60-90 minutes checking on it and they don't have the parts to fix it. If the bag need to be fix then they would order parts and I would need to come back. What a load of horse sh!t. Stupid dealer trying to appear nice and all so people would give them more business later.

According to the 13-008 Bulletin, it's less than 1% affected. I inspected 50 the first day this came out on our lot. It can be done in about 2 minutes if someone has done one before and knows what to look for. Good news is even on the customer vehicle that have come in, not one has needed an airbag.

Received the call about this today from my dealer...no appointment necessary, 15 minute job they say.
