I just purchased a 2011 EX-L with Nav and in Black with Grey Interior.
I traded in my 2004 EX-L Nighthawk Black with Grey interior. I wanted a Touring, but the dealership had just sold the one I wanted, and I settled for the EX-L. Just had running boards installed- the tubular ones (OEM-black). Any thing I should know about the truck? I have an extended warranty until 8/120; purchased in addition to the 7/100. It has about 47k miles on the odom. It has trouble recognizing my voice as I try and utilize the phone through bluetooth. The stereo is nice, but realize the bass is a bit flat. The dealership installed Goodyear Fortera HL tires. I am installing fyre fly interior LED lights. Otherwise, no mods yet.

I have so far removed the Fortera's and replaced them with Michelin CrossTerains which made a very big difference, the Forteras seem to get loud and if you read enough on here you will see others complain about the noise as well, although it is a great tire, but road noise becomes intolerable after just 15K-20K miles, may want to make a deal with the dealer that just put them on to go with the other option of Michelin, even the LTX as they are using on the 2012 models now are good too as Honda moved away from the Fortera HL's. I have also installed LED throughout the interior which I love and also the license plate bulbs which I bought all as a set. I am still thinking about the running boards and can't decide as to which I want, the Honda black and lit boards or the tubular ones with chrome, I have heard the tubular ones are prone to dent easy, is that true? ONce I decide I will add those on myself, did you install those your self? pictures would be great ! ![]() I've also installed a plain cover on the hitch which imnproved the rear end look at bit. Other than that I am not sure about other mods yet, I don't like to go over on them as it will degrade the original look but open for nice suggestions. Again, congrats!

I had Bridgestone Duellers Alenzas on my 04' EX-L and they were noisy and felt out of round each day I started out in the morning. The next set should be Michelins but I will stick with the factory Good years although the Fortera should be much better than the Integrity brand of Goodyear on the 04'. Thanks for the warm welcome.
