Default ReadyBrake installation

Making preparations to pull my 2005 Pilot behind my motorhome. Installed baseplate, no problem. Now I need to install the cables for ReadyBrake system. Need to route cables through firewall and come out by brake pedal. This is proving to be the hardest part of the install because I can't find an inch of space anywhere to go through. Considering taking off the brake booster and see if that will help, but hoping someone out there can offer some suggestions for where to go through firewall at.

Have a look at this thread, I came through the firewall by slicing a rubber grommet:

I'm pretty sure Honda does not recommend flat towing the Pilot.

I forget he exact years, but the older Pilots could be towed if you started them and run through the gears every 8 hours.

Hi - Thanks for the replies! DH got it accomplished .... YEA!!! And, yes, mine is an '05 and the owner's manual says it can be flat-towed with the 8-hour thing mentioned above. We're usually where we're going (Fla) before 8 hours ... : )

That'll teach me for not looking at the Owners Manual.
