6 years old as of last week. I told myself that I would wait until 105,000 miles but now since I drive it 100 miles RT on the weekend, I am leaning to changing it at a reputable mechanic. No great deals on the price but cheaper than the dealer.

And the tensioner for the timing belt. Mine was leaking a little at the timing belt was changed. It was about a $70 part.

Get the Gates brand timing kit from Rockauto.com. For my 04 it was like $160 shipped with -5% off coupon I found on Google. Everything in the kit is OEM Honda except for the water pump (which is still excellent quality). Kit includes the following:
- Gates timing belt (Gates/Unitta make the Honda belts) - Koyo tensioner bearing (same as Honda) - Koyo idler bearing (same as Honda) - Aisin Hydrauilc Tensioner (same as Honda) - Gates Water pump (Honda uses a few different brands) Then just pay someone to install it. |
