Question Tranny oil change

Hi,

I just reached the 30k mark on my 2008 Pilot. And, I am wondering if I need to change the tranny oil or not. I was checking the manual and it shows to change it every 30k, "only if you drive in mountains or pull a trailer". I do NOT do either. So, am I supposed to change the oil or not. Please let me know. Also, what else I need to do at this 30k mark.

Thanks for your time,
Ven

Yes, wait until the MM tells you do any maintenance such as the B3 or B6 (if you have the AWD model) codes. Those codes appear at about 15,000 miles and then every 30,000 after that if I remember correctly.

The coolant should be replaced when you replace the timing belt and plugs in the 105,000 miles range.

I've been following the MM on my wife's 2007 Pilot for almost 120,000 miles so far without any problem other than a radiator that started to leak just a little at about 100,000 miles.

Hi TomStromie,

Thanks for the link and sharing your experience. That cleared all my questions, and gave me peace of mind. I will wait for the code.

Thanks again for your time,
Ven
