Default soaked carpet

i have a 2004 pilot, has anyone else experienced wet front seat carpeting after it rains?

This if from an old post I made. I could never find a leak up buy the windshield wipers but when I did this on the drivers side only, both sides stopped.

Don’t know if this worked but here is some picks. With the inside panel removed, there is a gold colored screw below the hood release. Below that is a small hole. The water was coming in here. The area behind the hole is a hollow area between the inner and outer panel. I had to drill up in the location shown to let the water filling up between these panels run out. In the pic you can see the body panels have been spot welded together and what looks like weep holes left open for drainage but mine didn’t work. When you drill up in the bottom of the opening you will run into some gray insulation. The extra holes are trial and error. I think Honda got carried away with this and it’s causing the problem, just a guess. Right or wrong I don’t care as long as my carpets stay dry.
