Recently purchased a 2012 White Diamond Pearl Touring just last week. No pics yet but I'll post when I get a chance
I'm looking for a good cargo liner because the daughters stroller keeps sliding in the back. I'm looking at the weather tech cargo liner or the OEM but not sure which one to go with. My concern is will either one fold or roll to cover only the actual cargo area when the 3rd row is being used? Also I've read that the OEM liner doesn't stop items from skidding. ![]() Any suggestions or recommendations? Thanks!!: |

I've had WeatherTech products in vehicles in the past...and really liked them, but I went with the OEM rubber mats and cargo liner in my Pilot this time. I really like how the design of the mats and cargo liner work with some of the interior trim pieces...the premium chrome running boards I added incorporate the same design elements as well. To this point I've had no issues whatsoever with either the mats or cargo liner and can tell no difference with the grip of the OEM cargo liner versus the WeatherTech ones I've had in the past.

Not sure if the cargo liner/tray/mat will solve your problem.
Maybe what you need is a cargo net. I have this already. It can be placed at the rear to keep things from falling when the tailgate opens. It can be useful as a nice basket for smaller/lighter items too. If the 3rd row is down, it can be anchored at four points to keep things from moving and rolling. Just a thought. I didn't like the OEM cargo tray, as it can't be folded if the 3rd row is up. I can't use the OEM cargo liner, as I already have the 2nd row seat covers. I like the idea of the MDX cargo mat, as it's a trifold. The closest I can think of getting is the Weathertech cargo liner.

Sorry I just now got back to reading this thread. I'll post a pic tonight of the rolled up cargo liner.

The OEM "rolls up" but it doesn't roll tight and flat. A lot of the cargo space behind the third set gets eaten up when you store it back there. Its fine if you do a quick/impromptu people move. But if you are loading up strollers and groceries, you might want to leave it the garage.

I just picked up my 2012 pilot and it has the OEM cargo liner. It does stop things from rolling around, so far. I like the looks and really don't plan to use the 3rd row much. I have not tried to "roll" it up but it feels like it might be possible. If I have time later I will try and see what happens.
