Historically, Honda will re-engineer a new vehicle about every six years with a refresh after three. That being the case, with a restyle of the Pilot in 2012, you could look for a "new" Pilot in 2015. Since the Ridgeline has been around since 2006, it's tough to say on what the plans are for those.

The Ridgeline seems like the Element, and is not on the same refresh cycle.
I wonder if it is by plan, or due to low sales?

Honda's word on the Ridgeline.
Ridgeline Is Here to Stay Only thing wrong with the Ridgeline IMHO is the styling. There is just too much going on. Even eliminating the grooves on the doors would improve things. Chevrolet has just released overseas a new Colorado which is far better looking http://photo.netcarshow.com/Chevrole...2_photo_02.jpg Ford killed off the Ranger here but there is a new one overseas First Drive: 2012 Ford Ranger - PickupTrucks.com News So there is a market out there for this type of truck. As for the Pilot, the first gen got MMC after three years and replaced at six. So 2015 is about right.

The Ridgeline is definitely a vehicle where function takes precedence over form. I looked at them a few years back and even took a test drive. It's a very well thought out vehicle and rides nice, especially for a truck, but I just couldn't bring myself to buy one because of the looks. Hopefully, the redesign will bring forth a more aesthetically appealing vehicle.

There is no re-design of Ridgeline in the near future. There current direction for Ridgeline is to keep selling but with current design and only minor tweaks. There will be a new Pilot in 2015 as jjgoff2012 already said.

Too bad they stopped their diesel development. A diesel Ridgeline would have been a great little truck

So just got some internal information (I work within the Honda supplier network) and there appears to be a full model change for the Ridgeline planning for 2016 model. Something to look forward too, not just a mild refresh!
