2012 Honda Pilot Touring: Sorting phonebook by last name instead of by first name
We recently purchased a 2012 Honda Pilot Touring, and have successfully pared the Pilot’s Bluetooth HandsfreeLink system with my wife’s iPhone 4 running IOS 5.0 and populated the Pilot's phonebook. We can only get the phonebook to show our contacts sorted by first name instead of by last name. Our dealer told us that when pared with an iPhone, this is the only way the names of your contacts can be sorted. Are any of you successful at sorting your phone book by last name instead of by first name? I’d be willing to hear from non-iPhone Pilot owners as well… perhaps someone initially had their phonebook in first name sort order, and were able to change it to last name sort order. I’m obviously not willing to swap the data in our iPhone’s first name and last name fields to accomplish this. That would just lead to disorder in all the other areas of our e-lives instead of just with the Pilot’s phonebook.
