Default new to the forum

hi everyone. i have owned my pilot since purchasing it brand new in aug/2006. i was a very satisfied owner of the vehicle until the past three to four months. i have noticed that the suv does not feel as sturdy and stable on the road as it has in the past. my wife who is the primary driver of this vehicle has also noticed this. the steering seems much looser and it just doesnt have the stick to the road feel as it has in the past. the tires are new and the vehicle has been put through all the regularly scheduled maintenances. tire pressures are good. totally confused on this one. if anyone has had similar issues or if anyone has any bright ideas as to what may be causing this i would appreciate any input. thank you.

It's called the "new car" itch. Try and fight through it. ;-)

Dozens of possible causes for loose steering. Tie rods are always my first thought. Any other symptoms? How is steering wheel play when you're not moving? How "new" are the tires and did you go with a new brand? You'd be surprised how much effect different tires can have on feel. Welcome, and good luck.
