Default Big Dumb Stupid Skunks

For some reason, there are many many skunks this year. I think it's from all the wet weather we've had in northern OH. Anyway, I was driving down a secondary road the other day and there was a dead skunk in the middle of the road (just like the song ). I move about 2 feet to the right to avoid it but apparently I ran through some juice or body parts because my Pilot smells like skunk butt. I've pressure washed the entire vehicle 3 times (top and bottom), used Nature's Miracle Skunk Odor Remover, and tried the hydrogen peroxide +baking soda +soap remedy but it still smells. I see no evidence of guts, or anything else. I suspect it's the oil musk that remains.

Does anybody have any other ideas of things to try to alleviate the stench or am I going to have to suffer through it for a few weeks until it dissipates?

Default

I have to laugh because years ago I was racing up at Nelson Ledges, Ohio and I must have been exhausted so I let my buddy drive my racevan and I swear to god he must have somehow run over a whole family of skunks. I could smell it strongly for about four months.

Get something to stick up your nostrils for the time being. ;-)
