Question Stupidest OCD question for the boards yet - 2012 pilot

I have a 2012 Pilot Touring and it seems the owner's manual packet is too large to fit in the dashboard glove box and the center console.

Apparently the passenger seat storage box is gone in the 2012 and the door pocket is a tight squeeze, plus when it rains, it gets wet.

So where are you guys putting your owners manuals?

At home except for the service book kept in the glove box. It's a good read as well. ;-)

I don't think this is an OCD question...but maybe I'm OCD. I put ours in the storage area on the left hand side next to the cargo tray. It was too much effort to keep dumping things out to get at the storage area under the cargo tray. I hope this helps.

I keep it at home. I don't want anyone to break in to my pilot and have access to the manual on how to's. It's like leaving your registration and ins, in your vehicle. If they get pulled over, they show that.

I just store mine under the front passanger seat. My LX doesn't have a tray but it stays put alright.

I bought two cheapie plastic bins at Wal-Mart, hoping that they would fit under the front passenger seat. Lo and behold, not only do they fit perfectly under the seat together, the manual is a perfect fit inside one of the bins.

I put mine in the center console, there's a hidden cavern right infront of the cup holders. Mine is an EXL though, don't know if that space is available in the Touring trim.

Funny, my OCD Wife complained about the size of the documentation compared to the size of the glovebox too. *****ed out the salesman. I just stood there and laughed. Picking up new in 1 hour & 20 min.

Makes me a bit sad for the 2012'ers that they removed the little drawer under the passenger seat. Having just realized it was there (thank you Piloteers.org) after two years, it's a nice reprieve from the stuffing and tearing that I had to do to keep it in the glove box.

Why keep the OM up front when nobody reads it. Stuff it in the "secret trunk" in the back.

I have the touring.
For now, all the manuals and whatever can fit in the black case fits inside the center console behind the cup holders.
The storage under the armrest is already occupied by the two headphones, and some DVDs.

I was thinking the same thing when i first saw the manual. I place it in the center console behind the cup holder aswell but thinking of moving it somewhere else.

I put mine in the same place...I have a 2012 Touring. It's a perfect spot for manuals and documents.
