I have very specific question about 2012 Pilot. I race bicycles and carry them always inside of my car. Thinking to downgrade from 2011 Infiniti QX 56 to 2012 Honda Pilot.
To put my bikes in in-upright position with front wheel removed, I will need to unbolt and remove 2nd and 3rd row seats. I was told by Honda dealership that I can not remove those seats because there is electrical connection to airbags and airbags will not work. Is it possible to by-pass it and/or reconnect electrical circuit after seats are removed to have airbags in working condition? |

Yes, but I race bikes and don't want to fiddle with saddle hight every time I put my bikes in or out. Also its just me (no kids involved) and need that space what seats are taking. Thanks anyway.

Airbags inside the second row seats???? There is nothing about airbags in the second or third row seats afaik after looking at Honda's site.
Think you have another case of ignorant-dealeritis. There are curtain airbags but those deploy from the roof line. The other potential is seat belt anchors. But I doubt there are any connections there.
